Megan Devine is a graduate of the Equine Industry Program at the University of Louisville. Originally from Long Island, New York, Megan moved to Kentucky to follow her passion for horses. While at school, she was a member of the Shadow Host Program, Delta Zeta Sorority, President of the Riding & Racing Club and Captain of the University of Louisville Equestrian Team. She also held an on campus job as a Cardinal Ambassador, giving tours and communicating with prospective students and their families. For her involvements, Megan was recognized as one of only four Outstanding Seniors in 2014, and graduated with honors for her academic achievements.
As of 2014, Megan has worked for US Chia, NBC Sports (for the national coverage of horse racing, Sunday Night Football and rugby) and TVG Network. In 2012, Megan was selected as one of the 16 national finalists for the United States Hunter Jumper Association Emerging Athlete Program, a talent scout program that hopes to discover the future Olympic riders for the U.S. Equestrian Team. Megan believes in working hard and hopes to inspire people everywhere to follow their dreams. She is also an advocate for exercising and eating healthy!
After being awarded a title at her first pageant, Megan served as the 2014 Miss University of Louisville, and promoted her platform for Equine Assisted Therapies: Horses Helping Humans. She competed at the 2014 Miss Kentucky Pageant, a preliminary pageant for Miss America.
